The weather has been very bipolar this winter. Dry as a bone for weeks, feet of snow the next day, followed by quick melting. While waiting for winter to make up its mind, I found myself distracted by sprouts of green. Driving near the California border on Highway 66, spring was leaving little clues around each bend of the road. So much so, that I had to take a break and soak up the beginning of a new season.
